| My iPhone's Glass Display is Scratched |

The screen to my iPhone is getting scratched. I am so bummed. I have watched all the video tests of people, and PC World scratching the screen with keys and knives and the screens didn't scratch. That is why I didn't get a screen protector. Now after a month of day to day use my screen is now getting scratched. I keep my iPhone in my pocket and I treat the iPhone like I would any other $600 device (like a baby). Replacement screens cost $150 and screen protectors are about $ 25, so anyone out there who doesn't want their screen to get scratch I would suggest getting a protector.

Try $250 to replace glass! More than 1/2 the cost of the phone. It happened to me. It wold've been nice of Apple to have a warranty for physical damage, but they don't. I think a protector will be bought when I finally get mine fixed.

I bought a package of 5 protectors at Wal Mart for $4.00. They come with a grid to cut to fit the screen. And they arent noticable. I also got 4 silicone cases on ebay for 2.99. One was 32.00 at Best Buy.

I also have been looking at all of the reviews regarding screen protectors. I carry my phone in my purse where it constantly gets banged around. Actually the back of my phone looks worse than the front. Anyway, about a month ago I purchased an entire protective film package from Phantom Skinz. After 2 tries I got the kit on. It was easy after I watched the video and re-read the instructions. The material looks invisible. I am getting the new 3G one in a couple of weeks and am definitely getting it protected straight from the box. BTW, I got 2 kits when I ordered mine.
